About Positive Psychology Coaching

Positive Psychology Coaching is a scientifically rooted approach to helping clients increase wellbeing, enhance and apply strengths, improve performance, and achieve valued goals. 

At the core of positive psychology coaching is a belief in the power of science to explain the best methods for development.” - Kauffman, Boniwell, and Silberman (2010).

Positive psychology is about focusing on the good life, what works, about what is going well within and in your life, relationships and work. 

It is about building human strength, improving people's productivity, nurturing peoples genius and helping them reach their full potential (Oades & Mossman, 2017). 

The aim of positive psychology is to help you create a balanced and broader perspective on life, by focusing on the negatives and positives equally. 

It is very easy to focus on just the negative things in life and this can create tunnel vision and prevent us from seeing the good things that are also happening. Although there are a lot of bad things that can happen in life, there is even more good, happiness and joy that is also happening and it's about bringing attention to the good things too. 

Discovery Coaching Program Overview

Throughout the 9 week coaching program we will DISCOVER how to live a more fulfilling and flourishing life.  

Each week, we will dig deeper into the DISCOVERY model, we will explore the science and learn how to integrate it into your life to enhance your wellbeing and happiness.

In this session, we'll focus on how to live more intentionally. We'll cover topics such as:

  • Meaning & Purpose 
  • Physical and Mental Wellbeing
  • Connecting with your WHY (homework)

Do you know what your strengths are? In this session, we'll uncover your strengths that will help you reach success, and go over topics such as: 

  • Values In Action 
  • Gallup Strengths 
  • Reflection (homework) 

Confidence is key! In this session, we'll explore topics that will explore your mindset and level of confidence, including:

  • Growth Mindset 
  • Resilience 
  • Courage 
  • Challenging Negative Experiences (homework) 

Discover how to overcome overwhelm and the different obstacles you face in your daily life. Here is what we'll cover:

  • Strategies for Overcoming Overwhelm

We will connect every two weeks for 1 hour via Zoom video conference.

You will be given regular assignments to amplify our time together, and keep you making consistent forward progression in all areas of your life.
