When I first moved to Canada 4.5 years ago I should have been the happiest I’d ever been, but I felt lost and stuck.
I’d focussed so much on supporting my husband John settle into his new career in a new country, I focussed on supporting our two teenagers transition into life in a new continent, I focussed on setting up our new home and taking care of all the administration of emigrating, registering kids in new schools, bank accounts, healthcare, new sports clubs, getting cars, sin numbers you name it…
Once I had checked everything off my list and got out of ‘doing’ mode, I felt completely lost, so disconnected with who I wanted to be, let alone what I wanted to do in this next chapter of my life. So I did the work, I turned inward for the answers, I worked with my coach to help me gain clarity and the confidence to embark on this next phase of my journey.
